Lead Out Loud: The Women’s Leadership Retreat

Nation’s Best held its third annual retreat at Rough Creek Lodge in Glen Rose, Texas. The three-day event centered on the theme Lead Out Loud.

Stefanie delivered the industry keynote, “Unmistakable: Why Visibility Is Leadership & Your Competitive Moat in Business.” The program also included a CliftonStrengths workshop led by TyAnn Osborn, networking, and team activities.

The media work captured more than the stage. Interviews gave people a chance to share their experience, while photography and video documented the gathering.

Three Conversations From the Retreat

Stefanie interviewed Amber Little, Jodie Brixey, and Kristy Labrecque at the retreat.

These conversations give viewers a way to hear from the women taking part after the retreat has ended.

Chris Miller: Growing the Business and Preserving Its Legacy

In an earlier Grit Blueprint Podcast conversation, published May 27, 2025, Chris Miller joined Stefanie to discuss investing in hardware stores, supporting their people, and carrying local business legacies forward.

The episode also explored technology and developing talent.

Kim Peffley: Careers, Mentorship, and Opportunity

Kim Peffley’s earlier podcast conversation, published June 3, 2025, explored preserving local businesses, building a career, and helping others find opportunities in the industry. Mentorship and opportunities for women were part of the discussion.
