Privacy Policy
Effective October 23, 2026
On this page
This Privacy Policy explains what information stefaniecouch.com (the “site”) collects, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. The site is operated by Build Women LLC, doing business as Grit Blueprint (“Grit Blueprint,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), the company Stefanie Couch founded.
Information You Give Us
Booking inquiries. When you send an inquiry through our booking form, we collect your name, email address, organization, what you are interested in, and your message. You can also choose to tell us your event or project name, date or planning window, location or format, audience size, budget range, and any agency, bureau, or referral. With each inquiry we also record the page you sent it from, the date and time, and any campaign tags in the link that brought you to the site (such as utm_source).
Newsletters. If you sign up for one of our newsletters, we collect your email address and your consent to receive it.
Email and other messages. If you contact us directly, we receive the information you choose to include.
Information Collected Automatically
Hosting and security. Like most websites, the companies that host and protect this site record technical details when you visit, such as your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you request, and the time of each request. This information is used to deliver the site, keep it secure, and block abuse.
Analytics. We use Metricool to measure visits to the site, such as how many people visit and which pages they view.
Visitor identification. We use a visitor identification tool from Exact Match Marketing that loads from leads.gritblueprint.com. When it runs, it sends the address of the page you are viewing, your IP address (which it looks up through a public service called ipify), a random visitor ID saved in your browser, the date, your screen and window size, your time zone, and your device type to Exact Match Marketing, and it may set a cookie in your browser. Exact Match Marketing may match this information with personal information it already holds, such as a name, email address, or postal address, to tell us who visited. It also uses and shares information under its own privacy policy, including for advertising. The tool can also add an advertising tag from Simpli.fi, an ad platform, when Exact Match Marketing sends one. When your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, the tool’s script still loads, but it stops there: it sends no visit details and sets no cookie or visitor ID.
Videos. Videos on the site play through YouTube in its privacy enhanced mode. Most players connect to YouTube only when you press play. Some preview images and playlists load from YouTube when the page opens. YouTube’s own privacy policy applies to the information it collects.
Fonts. Some of the site’s fonts load from Google Fonts. To show them, your browser connects to Google’s servers, which receive your IP address and basic browser information. Google’s own privacy policy applies to that information.
Cookies and similar tools. These tools may use cookies, your browser’s local storage, or similar technology. You can block or clear them in your browser settings.
How We Use Information
- To respond to your inquiry and to plan and deliver an engagement with you
- To send the newsletters you asked for
- To understand who visits the site and how it is used, and to improve it
- To keep the site secure and to prevent spam and abuse
- To keep business records and meet our legal obligations
Sending an inquiry does not sign you up for newsletters or marketing emails.
Where Your Inquiry Goes
Each inquiry is saved as a private record in our website’s admin area, where only our team can see it. It may also be sent to HubSpot, the system we use to manage inquiries and follow up with you. There it is saved with a contact record for you, and our team receives an email alert so we can reply.
To block spam, the form checks for automated submissions and keeps a scrambled (hashed) form of your IP address for about 10 minutes to limit repeat submissions.
AI and Your Information
Our team may use AI tools to help summarize an inquiry or draft a reply. A person reviews and sends every reply. Our AI Use page explains how we use AI.
How We Share Information
We share information only as described here:
- With service providers that help us run the site and our business, such as our website host, our security and content delivery provider, HubSpot, Metricool, Exact Match Marketing (our visitor identification provider), our email providers, and the AI tools our team uses. Each one handles information under its own terms and privacy policy.
- When the law requires it, or to protect our rights, our safety, or the safety of others
- If our business is sold, merged, or reorganized, as part of that transaction
- With your permission
We do not sell your personal information for money. Some state privacy laws, however, treat giving information to an advertising or data company as a “sale” or “sharing” of personal information, even when no money changes hands. Our visitor identification tool may count: Exact Match Marketing says in its privacy policy that it sells and shares personal information, including for targeted advertising. You can opt out at any time, as described under Your Choices and Rights.
How Long We Keep Information
We keep inquiries for as long as we need them to respond, follow up, and keep business records. We keep newsletter records until you unsubscribe. The scrambled IP address used for spam protection is deleted after about 10 minutes. You can ask us to delete your information at any time, and we will do so unless the law requires us to keep it.
Your Choices and Rights
- Unsubscribe from any newsletter with the link in each email.
- Ask to see, correct, or delete the information we have about you by emailing team@stefaniecouch.com. We may need to confirm your identity first.
- Block or clear cookies and local storage in your browser settings.
- Turn on Global Privacy Control in your browser. The visitor identification tool then sends no visit details and sets no cookie or visitor ID, and Exact Match Marketing treats the signal as a request to opt out of the sale and sharing of your information.
- Ask Exact Match Marketing directly not to sell or share your information, using the choices in its privacy policy.
Depending on where you live, you may have more rights under privacy laws, such as the right to know what we collect, to opt out of certain sharing, or to appeal a decision about your request. Email us to use any of these rights.
Children
This site is meant for adults and businesses. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Security
We use reasonable safeguards, such as secure (HTTPS) connections and limited access to inquiry records, to protect your information. No website or system is 100 percent secure.
Visitors Outside the United States
We are based in the United States. If you use the site from another country, your information will be processed in the United States and in the other countries where our service providers operate.
Other Websites
This policy covers stefaniecouch.com only. Websites we link to, including gritblueprint.com, YouTube, and social media platforms, have their own privacy policies.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the effective date at the top of this page.
